Grief is like the ocean; it comes on waves ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim.
My heart is with my big brother and his wife this week as they continue to face the overwhelming emotions of the very tragic and unexpected loss of their beautiful dog over the weekend. I am such a believer of the power of positive energy and love and its ability to reach the souls out there that need it the most. So I hope that 5,000 miles away, my brother and sister can feel my heart in theirs.
